Tennial Personnel are actively seeking a reliable and self-motivated cleaner to join a professional cleaning team operating in Ipswich. This role includes working 15 hours across the week at one site where you will complete cleaning tasks in corridors, office spaces, bathrooms and other rooms required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties across a variety of different locations within one site
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at each site
- Ensure correct use of key safes, fobs and access codes
- Communicate effectively with supervisors or other members of staff on site
- Adhere to Health & Safety and safeguarding policies
Skills Required:
- Attention to detail β ensuring all areas are kept clean, hygienic, and hazard-free.
- Time management β ability to complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks efficiently within part-time hours.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and policies β including health & safety and COSHH
- Good communication skills β able to interact politely with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Use of cleaning equipment and materials β vacuums, mops, steam cleaners, disinfectants, etc.
- Reliability and punctuality β consistent attendance is essential in a care environment.
- Ability to work independently β carrying out cleaning tasks with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina β capable of performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for periods of time.
