Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client’s manufacturing site based in Halesworth, Suffolk, on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probation period. The role is working 41.25 hours per week on a Monday to Friday weekly rotating shift pattern: 05:45am – 2:45pm and 1:00pm – 10:00pm.

Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will support the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. You will also supply raw materials to production, manage finished goods, maintain accurate stock records, and help ensure the warehouse is kept safe, organised, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, check, and book in deliveries using the warehouse management system.
  • Store goods safely and accurately, maintaining stock integrity.
  • Supply raw materials to the Production department and move finished goods into storage.
  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to transport materials safely around the site.
  • Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist with general warehouse operations, housekeeping, and site maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with a variety of warehouse duties as required.
Skills Required:
  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Experience using a computerised warehouse management system.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, flexible attitude.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to a variety of warehouse tasks.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong housekeeping standards and organisational skills.
Qualifications Required:
  • Valid UK Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
  • Bendi and/or Reach Truck Licence (desirable but not essential).
