Tennial Personnel are actively recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established cosmetics manufacturing company based in Halesworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking long-term employment with a company that offers long term permanent opportunities. The role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis with the intention of securing a permanent contract following a successful probationary period.

The position operates on a rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm. Upon securing a permanent contract, the shift pattern will move to 6:00am – 3:00pm and 1:00pm – 10:00pm. This is a varied and hands-on role combining Counterbalance Forklift operation with warehouse and logistics duties within a fast-paced cosmetics manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the efficient movement of raw materials and finished products while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and warehouse organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload deliveries, trailers, and containers
  • Move raw materials, packaging, and finished cosmetic products throughout the warehouse
  • Supply production departments with materials as required
  • Carry out goods-in and goods-out procedures
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
  • Assist with stock control, stock checks, and inventory management
  • Complete warehouse documentation and records accurately
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse cleanliness
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures
  • Support general warehouse and production activities as required

  • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
