Tennial Personnel are recruiting for reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our client on a temporary-to-permanent basis, working Monday to Friday across split shifts of 7:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:30pm. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week qualifying period. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a professional working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas remain clean, safe, and presentable while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. Due to the location of the sites and potential travel requirements between locations, candidates must have their own transport. The role is also subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check due to the nature of the working environment.
Duties will involve cleaning a variety of areas including office spaces, communal areas, corridors, washrooms, and other designated locations, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain office spaces, meeting rooms, and communal areas
- Ensure corridors, entrances, and walkways remain clean and presentable
- Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and welfare facilities
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables as required
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Report maintenance issues or concerns to management
- Complete cleaning schedules and tasks within designated timeframes
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties requested by the employer
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- Understanding of health and safety practices within the workplace
- Previous commercial cleaning experience would be advantageous but is not essential
