Tennial Personnel are actively seeking detail-oriented Production Technicians with pressure testing experience to join a growing, family-run manufacturing business based in Risby, near Bury St Edmunds. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity following a successful 12-week working period, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 1-hour unpaid break, offering an hourly rate of £13.00 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience.
The role sits within an exciting and rapidly developing sector, offering hands-on involvement in a specialist manufacturing project where quality, safety, and precision are critical. You will be joining a close-knit team working on the first production run of a newly designed product, supporting mission-critical infrastructure, within a business that continues to grow day by day and offers long-term opportunities for the right individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out pressure testing of assembled products in line with defined procedures
- Support mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations as required
- Use calibrated hand tools, including torque tools, to specification
- Work to production schedules, engineering drawings, and test documentation
- Carry out visual inspections and assist with quality checks
- Accurately record test results and build documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment
- Support all areas of production when required
- Report any safety, quality, or process issues promptly
- Proven experience carrying out pressure testing in an industrial environment
- Strong understanding of test discipline, safety controls, and procedures
- Ability to follow technical documentation and test instructions
- Flexible, team-oriented approach to work
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Pressure testing qualification or certification (preferred)
