About the Role

To undertake daily / weekly / monthly activities in order for the Warehouse Department to meet KPI requirements for cost, quality, service and behaviours through agreed ways of working. This will be on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key Accountabilities

  • Comply with all Statutory & Legal requirements
  • Comply with all Safety, Health & Environment requirements
  • Comply with any appropriate packaging or food hygiene safety regulations as defined by policy or legislation, such as HACCP
  • Comply with all Product & Process Quality requirements
  • Comply with all Housekeeping, Cleaning & 5S requirements
  • Comply with basic asset care requirements
  • Operate Warehouse Equipment to ensure the department delivers finished goods of the right quality, at the right time and at the right cost to the logistics department
  • Undertake improvement activities to ensure the department meets all of its KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Targets
  • Undertake training for new skills & tasks within the Department in line with PDPs
  • Undertake any Warehouse related tasks, as directed by the First Line Manager
  • Attend Meetings & Briefings as necessary
  • Comply with all documentation and transactions required to operate and improve performance in the department
  • Ensure that all internal customer requirements are met
  • Understanding of food safety requirements within the role
  • Accurately pick and pack orders ensuring that all stock is complete and undamaged, ensuring compliance with operating procedures

About you

  • English & Mathematics Standard Grades or equivalent
  • Packaging or Engineering based qualification an advantage
  • All operational training to be able to do the role is provided
  • Appropriate FLT License with Keg Clamp experience an advantage
  • Computer Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Picking experience desirable
