As we continue to evolve and grow, we’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an ER professional who thrives on building trusted relationships, navigating complex employee relations matters and driving fair, consistent people practices across a diverse organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing complex ER cases from start to finish, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
- Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle people-related challenges.
- Partnering with HR Business Partners on organisational change projects, including restructures, redundancy programmes and TUPE activity.
- Supporting the development and implementation of ER policies, procedures and guidance.
- Keeping managers informed of legislative changes and emerging best practice.
- Delivering training and coaching to build management capability and reduce organisational risk.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider HR function.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll be an experienced Employee Relations professional with strong employment law knowledge and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Proven experience managing a broad range of ER cases.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation (Ireland experience would be advantageous).
- Experience supporting organisational change, consultation and restructuring activity.
- The ability to influence and build credibility with managers at all levels.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach with a focus on finding practical solutions.
- Confidence operating in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
