We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Tradesperson to join our maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone with solid technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly across departments.
Responsibilities
- Carry out tool changes and product setups, including submitting samples for lab testing
- Provide break cover for cold form presses when needed
- Perform planned maintenance tasks and log findings in the QAD ERP system
- Troubleshoot equipment and processes to ensure safety and performance
- Respond to breakdowns and support other trades and technicians across departments
- Suggest and implement improvements to boost equipment efficiency and cycle times
- Manage parts inventory: booking replacements and returning faulty items
- Support apprentices and trainees on an ad-hoc basis
