The general duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical problems
- Fabricate sheet metal parts and safety guards for equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Move, align, level and install machinery
- Participate in process improvement
- Maintain housekeeping in the department in order to facilitate a neat, safe and orderly working environment
- Assist management as appropriate to ensure all environmental and safety regulations as well as best practices are met and/or exceeded
- Adhere to all safety rules
Position Requirements and Experience:
- Qualified applicant must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Qualified applicant must have the ability to work 1st shift (7a-3p), 2nd shift (3p-11p), or 3rd shift (11p-7a)
- Journeyman card or Eight (8) documented years of equivalent experience will be considered.
- All shifts may require daily or weekend overtime
- The individual must have the ability to be or become licensed and drive powered industrial trucks, lifts, etc.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
