Warehouse/Production Operative

Vacancy Details

Tennants UK is looking for a Production Operative to join our warehouse team. This role includes operating various printers and cutting machines.As well as helping with general warehouse tasks. Excellent verbal communication and reading skills are needed, since you will be using cut-files, picking lists and dispatch notes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machinery such as laser cutters and printers
  • Monitoring stock levels & report shortages where found
  • Undertake quality inspections of products & work created
  • Pick stocked inventory and pack orders for shipping
  • Take dispatch notes & invoices from our Sage system

Requirements:

  • Carry out basic tasks on a computer or similar devices
  • Able to prioritize and work in a fast-moving environment
  • Flexible regarding working extra hours to meet deadlines
  • Be thorough & pay attention to details and ensure product quality
  • Operate reliably within a team environment & communicate well

Salary, Hours & Location:

This position is offered on a full-time basis working alternating shifts 7.30am to 3.30pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. For a competitive hourly wage from Β£12.71 per hour based on experience. Employment benefits include social activities, increased holidays based on length of service & generous pension contributions. You will be working out of our production warehouse at Duke Street, New Basford, Nottingham, NG77JN.
