We are pre-seed and moving fast, and we are looking for people who want to get in early and help shape the product from the ground up. We are a remote-first team. This role is open to candidates based in North America, the UK, South Korea, Japan, or Singapore.

About the Role

We are looking for a driven partnerships and business development professional to join us as a founding contributor on a sweat equity basis. The founding team is currently managing a growing pipeline of outbound partnership opportunities, and we need someone who can take ownership of this and move it forward with pace and purpose. This role is fully flexible. It can be taken on fractionally and structured around other work or family commitments.

You will work closely with the founding team to build the partnerships and commercial relationships that will help TengriSys grow and strengthen our investor story. You will be supported by the leadership team, who will actively assist in closing partnership deals and open doors where they can.

What You Will Do

  • Lead outreach to audit firms and build relationships that position TengriSys as a trusted platform in the compliance ecosystem.
  • Reach out to VC firms, particularly those with portfolios in Asia, to explore partnership and discount programmes for their portfolio companies.
  • Identify and pursue partnerships with compliance consulting firms, with a focus on Asian markets.
  • Work to get TengriSys included in startup perk and partner programmes such as those run by Stripe, Mercury, and similar platforms.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of partnership conversations, keeping momentum across multiple workstreams.
  • Feed back insights from the market to help shape our positioning and commercial strategy.

What We Are Looking For

  • Must be based in and eligible to work in North America, the UK, South Korea, Japan, or Singapore.
  • Fluent English to a very high standard, both written and spoken.
  • A second language such as Korean or Japanese is highly desirable.
  • A background in sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or a related B2B space.
  • Someone who is comfortable with outbound outreach and knows how to open doors and build relationships from scratch.
  • Organised and self-directed, able to manage multiple conversations and priorities without much hand-holding.
  • Any existing network or familiarity within the audit, compliance, or VC ecosystem would be a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of or connections within Asian markets is a bonus but not essential.

What We Offer

  • Meaningful equity in a genuinely exciting early-stage product that is solving a real problem in the compliance space.
  • The chance to put your stamp on something from the very beginning, with real influence over how the company grows commercially.
  • Flexibility to work on your own terms, fitting around existing commitments.
  • The possibility of this growing into a leadership role within TengriSys as the company scales.

Compensation

This role is offered on a sweat equity basis. We are pre-seed and not currently offering a salary. If you are looking for a way to get meaningful equity in an early-stage AI compliance startup and contribute to something you genuinely care about, we would love to talk.
