An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Head of Tax to join a rapidly expanding international technology and infrastructure group on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
With a significant footprint across emerging markets and a diverse portfolio spanning digital infrastructure, technology services and high-growth businesses, this is a rare opportunity to shape the tax agenda of a complex, multinational organisation during a period of continued expansion.
As Interim Head of Tax you will take ownership of the Group's tax strategy, governance and reporting, providing oversight of tax matters across more than 20 international jurisdictions.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role requiring a commercially minded tax professional who can operate strategically while remaining close to the detail.
Key priorities: Lead the group's tax reporting and provisioning process, ensuring robust controls around current and deferred tax, effective tax rate reporting and statutory compliance.
Oversee tax health checks across the business, support local teams through tax audits and enquiries, and work proactively to identify and mitigate tax risk while preventing unnecessary cash leakage.
Support the groups corporate activity, advising on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, financing transactions and new commercial arrangements, whilst partnering with external advisers and senior stakeholders to deliver tax-efficient solutions.
Develop capability across the international finance teams and embedding best practice tax governance throughout the organisation.
This role would suit an experienced Group Head of Tax or Tax Director with strong tax accounting expertise and a proven track record operating within a complex multinational environment.
Experience across multiple jurisdictions, including Africa or other emerging markets, would be highly advantageous, as would exposure to M&A, financing transactions and cross-border tax advisory work.
This is an urgent position so candidates must be available to start within the next 4 weeks.
Their offices are in Central London and they require attendance 2-3 days per week.
This will be paid on an FTC basis with very strong remuneration on offer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
