The London-based Finance team is expanding and we are looking for a talented Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with a professional services or advisory background to join our growing team. This role primarily supports our Global Financial Advisory business, reporting directly into its CFO. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will collaborate with senior finance individuals and other internal finance teams to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce comprehensive monthly management reporting that creates a clear view of periodic performance in support of financial goals.
- Key role in influencing strategic and financial direction of business through planning cycle, decision support and performance management.
- Partner with key stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives such as identifying process improvements, and evaluating the impact to the organization.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of Monthly & Quarterly reporting for Board and Management meetings.
- Ability to summarise financial results and the story surrounding company performance.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to department leadership, client teams, and other groups as necessary.
- Participate in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process.
- Collaborate with regional business leaders to build and/or enhance reporting needs as necessary.
- Work closely with the CFO and FC teams to manage business level budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare adhoc reporting for various parties including management and executive teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), both time and exam qualified.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience and 2 years PQE.
- Previous experience at a professional services or advisory firm.
- Ability to build & analyse financial models & forecasts.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & building Presentation Decks.
- Working knowledge of reporting tools (ex: Power BI, NSPB, etc.) a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen.
- Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a fluid business environment.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; proactive with a high sense of urgency.
