We are a well-established, growing family-run logistics business with over 50 vehicles operating across two Essex depots. Known for our reliability and high service standards, we specialise in the collection and delivery of parcel and palletised freight across the region.
Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a professional and dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our palletised operations team at our Rivenhall depot. The RoleYou will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of palletised goods within the CM and CO postcode areas, representing the company professionally at all customer locations.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Overtime opportunities available
- Occasional Saturdays available
- Delivering and collecting palletised freight safely and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with road transport legislation and company procedures
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and POD records
Drivers are provided with:
- Company mobile phone
- Uniform and PPE
- Full on-site training and support
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 2 curtain-sided vehicles
- Full Category C (Class 2) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good geographical knowledge of local areas
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
