DSV is recruiting for a Tender Manager (flexible UK location). We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Tender Manager to join our team in the third-party logistics (3PL) sector. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth through innovative solutions and strategic proposals.

Reporting to the General Manager Tender Management UK & IE, the Tender Manager will lead the tender process, from opportunity identification to proposal submission. Responsibilities include ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals, managing tender budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with all RFP requirements and guidelines. Essential competencies include proven tender management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and effective leadership within a matrix structure.

Key Tasks
  1. Building relationships with new clients and understanding their needs.
  2. Leading and overseeing the end-to-end tender process, including analyzing documents, preparing proposals, and customer presentations.
  3. Coordinating with sales, solution design, operations, legal, and finance teams to address all tender aspects.
  4. Maintaining comprehensive tender documentation.
  5. Formulating strategies for bidding, managing resources, and ensuring compliance.
  6. Creating bid documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to guidelines.
  7. Providing updates to stakeholders and monitoring tender outcomes.
  8. Engaging with suppliers for cost-effective bidding.
  9. Developing pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics.
  10. Driving effective bid responses and negotiations.
  11. Using DSV’s CRM, Dynamics, to track performance.
  12. Guiding new business implementations.
  13. Staying updated on trends in warehousing and logistics.

**Capabilities/Competencies** include 3+ years of relevant experience, success in winning bids, understanding of tender lifecycle, excellent organizational skills, and strong negotiation abilities.
