Just a short walk from Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms underground station, we’re a gorgeous riverside pub, with a lovely beer garden, live sport and a private space upstairs. With a modern and large kitchen we’re looking for a Head Chef to revitalise our food offering and really stamp their mark upon the kitchen. Think gorgeous premium stone baked pizza, chin dripping burgers, and delicious nibbles. Everything you’d want while watching the game or enjoying the sunshine. We are a drinks heavy pub with a good following for live sport and lots of parties in multiple bookable spaces and we’re looking for a Head Chef to take charge of a food offering that complements that and grows with it. You’ll be encouraged and supported in writing your own recipes using fresh seasonal ingredients that brings to life the food vision. Working closely with the General Manager the kitchen will be yours to develop & maintain ensuring satisfaction across the board.

What we look for in a Head Chef:
- Someone that can inspire a team, to bring out the potential and lead by example whilst being able to develop, cost and produce fresh seasonal menus for the variety of revenue streams within the business.
- Experience championing excellent service through quality food either as a Head Chef or in the position of Sous Chef
- Ability to confidently manage all aspects of health, safety & compliance within the kitchen and ensure the kitchen is kept to the highest standard
- A passion for leading and developing a team
- An active hands-on team player with excellent communication skills
- Responsible and able to manage the kitchen staff rota, training and all health and safety effectively at all times
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials
- Great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour
- A pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
