Morson Talent has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operator within the Logistics team working for our prestigious client. This position is ideally suited to an individual who has experience working in a busy logistics setting, within a military environment.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out warehouse duties ensuring effective and efficient control of products within stores.
• Provide a professional level of customer service.
• Ensure high standards in housekeeping.
• Take a proactive approach to daily store operations.
• Maintain and report local store stock levels and monitor vending activities.
• Ensure the working environment is safe for all staff and visitors, adhering to H&S procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and suggest improvements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Follow all relevant procedures and processes in line with company requirements.
• Lead, follow up, and resolve customer concerns.
• Ensure warehouse security and maintain access control.
• Contribute positively to team goals and company targets.

Working hours: Nightshift, Monday to Thursday, 17:30 – 03:15

Qualifications

Candidates should understand store requirements and have demonstrable experience in a stores environment within manufacturing or defense sectors.

• Experience in handling and managing stock in a stores environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Forklift qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Certification in Dangerous Goods handling and Aviation security is desirable.
• Proficient in computer use with good numeric skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to establish practical solutions.
