Logistics Co-Ordinator£25,000 – £30,000 | Milton Keynes | 8:30 – 17:15 Mon-Fri | PermanentWe’re representing a long-established UK manufacturer and exporter with a strong international customer base, recruiting for a skilled Logistics Co-Ordinator to manage a variety of domestic and global shipments. This role will involve coordinating the full freight process across road, sea, and air, ensuring operations run efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively.You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all freight movements meet strict regulatory standards, including dangerous goods handling requirements.Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic, European, and worldwide shipments (road, sea, air)
  • Manage customs clearance processes and accurate shipping documentation
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and DGSA obligations
  • Negotiate freight rates, monitor costs, and optimise transport routes
  • Handle dangerous goods (including lithium-ion batteries) in line with safety legislation and MSDS guidelines
  • Oversee reverse logistics activities and maintain product traceability
  • Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost performance, and documentation accuracy

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years’ logistics/shipping/supply chain coordination experience
  • Sound knowledge of international shipping
  • Familiarity with DGSA requirements and dangerous goods handling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
