Ready to Start a Career in Construction? I’m currently working with a fantastic client in Kingshill, Kent, who is looking to bring on an enthusiastic Estimator. If you’re a detail-oriented individual ready to jump into the world of construction, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
My client is a well-respected firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. This role offers an excellent chance to work on a variety of projects, all while receiving hands-on experience and mentorship from industry experts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders and bids
- Supporting the senior estimating team by compiling and analysing project data
- Reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to get quotations for materials and services
- Contributing to the measurement and take off of quantities from drawings
- Maintaining and updating the company’s estimating database
- Collaborating with the project management and commercial teams
- Attending site visits and client meetings when needed
