Join our team as a Team Leader at our Washington Superstore! We are looking for hard‐working, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy a challenge and putting our members at the heart of everything we do. In this role you will work as part of a team within a busy retail environment.
Location & Shift Pattern
Location: Company Shop, Pattinson South Industrial Estate, Units, 2 Walton Rd, Washington, NE38 8QA
Shift pattern: 20 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (rota basis). Hours: Monday‐Friday 6 am‐10 pm, Saturday 6 am‐9 pm, Sunday 7:30 am‐6 pm. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays is required.
Pay & Hours
Rate of pay: £12.95 per hour, paid every 4 weeks.
About the Role
We consistently deliver great member service by putting members at the heart of our work and focusing on store standards. You will assist the section leader in coordinating the team to deliver outstanding performance and excellent store standards while maintaining an uncompromising view of service quality.
Responsibilities
- Co‐ordinate the department team to consistently deliver an excellent department.
- Maintain high standards and continually seek improvements.
- Enforce Health, Safety & Environmental policies, encouraging a culture of good HSE practice.
- Review waste within the department and seek solutions to reduce wastage.
- Run daily huddles, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Develop colleagues through coaching and recommending rising stars.
- Create an engaging department where colleagues are trusted by members.
- Uphold our culture and deliver an excellent member experience.
- Carry out additional departmental tasks as required.
