To ensure receiving, in-process and final QC inspection of goods received, assembled and tested in TAQA Well Completions (TWC) UK sites is completed and documented as per company quality procedures and applicable standards.
3. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Directly reports to: Quality Manager
4. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual project budgets to be managed in accordance with TAQA Well Completions procedures and appropriate approvals as per company’s Manual of Authority.
5. KEY ACTIVITIES
- Review of product traceability documentation and certification
- QC Inspection of incoming goods, including transacting in ERP, (including at supplier location, when required),
- In-process QC Inspection and traceability review for components assembled and tested in-house at UK sites.
- Final Inspection (completing or witnessing) of TWC products manufactured in UK sites.
- Completion of QC Inspection Reports and Logs, including recording on the QHSSE database
- Completion of incoming goods transactions in ERP
- Coordination of measuring and test devices calibration (calibration log, certificates and device ID checks)
- Issuing of concession requests and non-conformance reports related to incoming goods QC inspection, assembly and test process at UK sites.
6. INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITES
- To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety, and the Environment.
- To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments.
- To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company’s Quality or HSE Management Systems.
8. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QC inspection using variety of measuring devices and techniques in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in supervising QC inspection personnel
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong documentation skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Manufacturing/Quality background in precision machined components
- Warehouse and stock control in a manufacturing environment
- ERP system experience/exposure
