Role Overview:
The People Manager will play a central role in shaping how Tendable works internally. You will be trusted to make decisions, create structure where there isn’t any yet, and bring clarity, care and momentum to how our people experience work. You will work closely with the VP Growth and senior leaders across the business, acting as a connector, organiser, culture-carrier and calm presence — even when things are moving fast or aren’t perfectly defined. This is a role you are expected to make your own.
What You’ll Do:
- People Operations & Day-to-Day Enablement: Ensure colleagues have the tools, equipment and setup they need to do great work; Manage laptops, systems access and operational logistics; Handle day-to-day people admin with care, discretion and efficiency; Act as a trusted point of contact across the business.
- Internal Communications & Leadership Support: Own and manage internal communication channels (e.g. Slack); Support leaders with internal messaging and coordination; Act as an informal executive assistant where needed — keeping things moving, organised and joined-up.
- Culture, Values & Community: Be a visible champion of Tendable’s culture and values; Own team engagement, social moments and internal events; Run (and energise) the social committee — from celebrations to team get-togethers; Bring thoughtfulness and personality to how we work together.
- Learning, Development & Growth: Support learning and development initiatives across teams; Help managers nurture growth, progression and capability; Create simple, effective frameworks that support people at different stages.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment end-to-end, ensuring a thoughtful candidate experience; Fully own onboarding for new colleagues — from first day to fully embedded; Continuously improve onboarding so it reflects our values and sets people up for success.
- Employer Brand & External Presence: Own employer brand channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor); Share authentic stories about life at Tendable; Help us attract people who genuinely care about quality, healthcare and culture.
- Logistics, Events & Experiences: Coordinate travel, hotel bookings and logistics for team events; Organise parties, offsites and company moments (with flair); Negotiate with suppliers and partners confidently and commercially.
