What the Role Entails
- Partner with Finance Stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for AP, FA, and GL processes
- Lead fit-gap analysis and work with technical teams to configure solutions in Workday Finance
- Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle including design, testing (Unit testing and UAT), Training, and post-go-live support
- Act as a domain expert in Workday Financial system, supporting the implementation of Financial Management, Procurement, Banking & Settlement, or Expense Management functional areas
- Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services, ensuring effective data quality and reliable exchanges of digital information
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across HR, Finance, and other areas, requiring in-depth analysis of variables
- Design, develop, and maintain custom reports in Workday using various report types to support system integration
- Understand Security Configuration and Business Process setup in the tenant
- Create and maintain documentation for new and existing integrations
- Perform full system regression testing for Workday updates to ensure security access and integrations function as expected
- Understand business needs, troubleshoot issues, diagnose root causes, and propose solutions
- Analyze, design, document, and test system configurations to align with existing processes and reports in production
- Collaborate with business partners to understand processes, goals, and gaps
- Provide solution options with pros and cons, along with recommendations
- Conduct IT unit testing, support business UAT testing, manage the UAT lifecycle, build test cases, troubleshoot, and re-test
- Participate in change management and go-live support processes

Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Workday AP, Bank Settlement, P-card, Fixed Assets, and GL modules
- Proficiency in Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIBs, Report Writer (BIRT), Core Connectors, and PECI
- Experience with Workday report writing tools: Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports
- Knowledge of Workday Security policies (data security and business process security)
- Familiarity with Workday Extend Graph API
- Experience with EDI, XML, XSLT, Web services, SOAP, REST, JSON, Javascript, or other integration technologies
- Understanding of agile methodologies, processes, and change management tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in both leading and supporting roles
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams across different time zones
- Experience with Workday HCM or Payroll is a plus
