Responsibilities:
- Work with studios to create clear and actionable marketing strategies tailored to each video game title, focusing on maximizing visibility and engagement on the Steam platform.
- Assist studios in executing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, etc., aligning with overall go-to-market strategies and budget constraints.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize campaign effectiveness and ROAS.
- Guide studios on localizing marketing materials and game content to ensure relevance across different regions and cultures, with a focus on Europe & North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, developers, platform partners, and marketing agencies to facilitate collaboration and drive results.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to internal teams and studio partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in video game marketing, with a proven track record of launching successful PC titles and distributing on Steam.
- Deep understanding of Steam publishing strategies, including store page optimization, pricing, SKUs, participation in Next Fest and major sales festivals.
- Experience with Steamworks, Steam analytics, UTM tools, and other consumer insights tools.
- Skills in user acquisition and media buying, including analytics, trend identification, data-driven decision-making, and media spend optimization.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and developers.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of gaming culture and industry trends, especially for indie and AA titles.
- Experience working in a video game publisher across various genres and studios is a plus.
- Experience in a consultation or advisory role to game studios is advantageous but not required.
