What The Role Entails

  • Global Agency Development & Partnerships
  • Work with business teams to develop agency partnerships that support global business growth and enable successful agency onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with WEU Regional Marketing and Global marketing teams to ensure alignment on the business priorities and initiatives.
  • Assist with the marketing procurement process, including supplier selection, order management and contract management for small dollar business orders (SMB).
  • Assist in the vendor registration process and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Support the internal countersignature process for procurement‑related contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with procurement policies and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyse market trends.
  • Procurement & Data Management
    • Track, analyse, and report on each core marketing category’s spending, using insights to continuously optimise impact and cost efficiency.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of Purchase Orders.
    • Resolve supplier issues efficiently and offer practical solutions.
    • Contribute to process improvements and adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
    • Maintain an up‑to‑date awareness of own specialist area and market dynamics, taking action accordingly to ensure the best contracts are in place to meet the business needs.
    • Undertake all activities in line with all relevant Group policies and within Group risk appetite, ensuring compliance to all policies, procedures and systems providing an efficient and auditable sourcing trail that will ensure robust risk management.
    • Provide regular updates on status of the tasks being assigned through weekly reporting.
    • Other duties as assigned to support department initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Currently an undergraduate or master’s degree student in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Logistics Management, or related business fields.
    • Knowledge of general business principles or procurement. Ideally with prior procurement experience.
    • Ability to work independently and accurately.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and handle multiple tasks.
    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to handle procurement‑related data and information.
    • Ability to adapt to cross‑regional and cross‑cultural work patterns. Great teamwork spirit, strong communication skills, and fast‑learning ability.
    • Communicating bilingually (English / Mandarin) to deal with stakeholders from HQ and international teams is preferred.
    • Experience with the software included in the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, particularly word processing, spreadsheets and database programs.
