Responsibilities
PUBG MOBILE is based on PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the phenomenon that took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote island to battle in a winner-takes-all showdown. Players must locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles, and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone. PUBG MOBILE is co-developed by LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS of Tencent Games and KRAFTON, Inc.
- Create engaging and business oriented WEU go-to-market plans (paid media, creatives, live-ops, budget management, digital marketing) to support the lifecycle of PUBG Mobile, including version updates, anniversary and big local events.
- Manage brand activation projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders (including Brand Marketing, Product Development, Partnership, Creative Development, Influencers, Community at WEU and HQ level).
- Project management: monitor status of project from kick-off to post performance review; check milestones and timeline to ensure on-time delivery and conduct post mortem reports after project finishes.
- Management of consumer facing content within a framework of market localization and quality optimization (copywriting, visual impact, trends).
- Act as the point of contact for consultancy for the Germany/UK market and represent the WEU team with key entities (first parties, gaming associations, Germany/UK expert vendors).
Qualifications
- Avid gamer with extended experience in mobile games, PC and console games, especially in the shooter category and PUBG Mobile.
- At least 7+ years of brand marketing experience in marketing operations, campaign implementation, and successful experience in global marketing, ideally in gaming.
- Experience developing, executing and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns including digital, social media, paid media, influence, advertising, events and content creation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and writing skills and capacity to influence different stakeholders including management level in a multi-cultural environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive to deliver results. Must be solution-oriented and comfortable delving into the technical aspects of publishing and marketing frameworks.
- Experienced in creating content for a gaming brand and in development and implementation.
- Demonstrated excellence in creating and executing strategies that drive demand through digital channels.
- Deep knowledge of the marketing funnel, metrics and analytics to optimize campaigns.
- Project management skills and ability to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in going to market in several countries within Western Europe or North American regions with a good understanding of the countries gaming environments and marketing background.
- Bilingual with fluency in English and German is a plus.
