Business Unit Corporate Development Group (CDG) is responsible for promoting development and innovation in areas such as financial technology and advertising, as well as marketing services, including payment and financial applications. CDG supports the company and various business groups in strategic planning, investments and mergers, investor relations, corporate global communications, marketing, and public relations.
What The Role Entails:
- Conduct structured research on frontier technologies (e.g., GenAI, quantum, fusion, decarbonization) and produce investment-relevant sector analysis.
- Translate scientific breakthroughs and academic research into actionable commercial and investment insights.
- Develop thematic research reports and strategic briefs to support investment thesis formation.
- Map global technology ecosystems, identifying emerging trends, key labs, startups, and opinion leaders.
- Perform deep-dive company analysis including technology validation, competitive positioning, and scalability assessment.
- Build financial models and valuation analyses to support investment evaluation and internal recommendations.
- Support due diligence processes and contribute to investment memos.
- Build relationships with universities, research institutes, VCs, and ecosystem stakeholders to drive strategic collaboration.
- Distill complex technical topics into clear, executive-level narratives and external thought leadership materials.
Who We Look For:
- Master’s or PhD in STEM preferred, with strong academic rigor and analytical capability.
- 3–6 years of experience in technology consulting, investment research, PE/VC, corporate strategy, or research-intensive roles.
- Proven ability to evaluate technical feasibility and translate research into business implications.
- Strong financial literacy with experience in valuation or financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of global tech ecosystems and frontier technology landscapes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and ability to operate in cross-functional environments.
