What The Role Entails
- Holistic Product Ownership: Lead the overall direction and vision for the corresponding casual game product. Develop clear product roadmaps and upgrade strategies to ensure creative implementation from 0 to 1 and sustained iterative growth from 1 to N, achieving generational leaps for the product.
- R&D Coordination & Management: Establish and optimize the game R&D pipeline. Define development milestones and schedules, coordinating efficient collaboration among functional teams including design, art, and engineering. Establish cross‑team communication mechanisms and processes to ensure smooth information flow and efficient decision‑making, delivering development goals on time with high quality.
- Quality & Schedule Accountability: Oversee key development milestones and final product quality. Take responsibility for product quality, schedule, and budget. Proactively identify and resolve project risks and bottlenecks to ensure on‑time launches and meet expected user satisfaction and business goals.
- External Partnership Management: As required by projects, lead or participate in co‑development and outsourcing management with overseas partner studios. Ensure cross‑cultural teams collaborate towards common goals and deliver high‑quality content.
Who We Look For
- Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in game development, with 3+ years in a core Producer/Product Lead role, deeply involved in the mobile casual games domain.
- Full‑Cycle Ownership & Management: Excellent project management and coordination skills. Capable of leading product development from 0 to 1 through to version evolution from 1 to N and LiveOps, taking full responsibility for product quality and schedule throughout. Familiar with agile development processes, able to define clear milestones and drive the team to achieve them.
- Strategic Mindset: Deeply understand user acquisition channels and product growth mechanisms in the overseas mobile game market. Familiar with UA buying, marketing, and monetization strategies. Possess a data‑driven mindset, skilled at guiding product iteration through A/B testing and user data to improve key metrics (retention, LTV, etc.).
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of bridging different departments such as product, R&D, and operations. Collaborate closely with functional teams like UA, Publishing, Marketing, and Monetization to ensure alignment between product development and market strategies. Candidates with experiences in casual e‑sports or casual runner games experiences will be preferred. Fluency in spoken English is preferred.
