About the role
We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to start in September.
During your four terms in post, you will complete a Level 3 in Teaching and Supporting in Learning through on‑job experience, remote training and assignments, supported by staff in the school and the course provider.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with special educational needs in their academic achievement and wider personal development within a supportive and inclusive school community.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of teaching support for students with SEN.
- Work as part of the SEN team, collaborating with teachers and pastoral support to ensure quality care for vulnerable children.
Qualifications / Training
- Completion of a Level 3 in Teaching and Supporting in Learning (training will be completed during employment).
- Ability to work within a special education setting and support diverse learning needs.
