The predicted salary is between 26500 - 29200 £ per year.

Salary Range: £26,500 - £29,200 FTE (depending on experience)

Grade: Grade 6 (Points 17-21)

Working pattern: Min 20 hours, up to max 37 hours per week. Core hours to be worked within the window of Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. Office based for a minimum of 3 days per week, after probationary period. Term-time plus – total of 40 working weeks per year. Limited late afternoon/early evenings.

Closing date: Monday 22 June 2026 at midday. Interviews will be held week commencing 29 June 2026. Start date: Immediate, or subject to notice period.

Tenax Schools Trust is looking for an experienced, detail-conscious administrator to join our expanding central services team. This is a busy and varied role, so you will be hard-working and flexible to work across a number of our central functions. You will be confident to use your initiative, whilst knowing when to seek support from colleagues or leaders. Your role will not be boring, and two days are rarely the same. We find this exciting and are looking for someone who can share that.

We need someone who can bring warmth and empathy to the role and be resilient to manage workload peaks, whilst still delivering a first-class service. As a small but growing central team, you will be flexible to lend a hand where needed. You will work closely with, and report to the Head of Governance and Compliance, supporting the administration of a wide range of central service areas, including administration of complaints, policy changes, training records, incident reports etc.

You will also attend meetings of at least two local committees as their note-taker and administrator. This will involve a commitment to some evening working, planned up to a year in advance.
