Serving over 100 million customers across diverse businesses, you’ll be a key player on a dynamic, remote team spanning the UK and Spain.
This project governs the large-scale legacy migration and modernization of data infrastructure. The primary objective is to convert their legacy Ab Initio ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) platform to a modern, cloud-native AWS Glue and PySpark environment. To accelerate this migration and optimize code generation, the team will leverage advanced generative AI patterns, specifically incorporating Claude Code and agentic/multi-agent workflows to automate and validate pipeline conversions.
Responsibilities:
- AI & Generative AI Development
- Lead LLM Integration: Architect and implement advanced Generative AI solutions, serving as the primary expert for seamless Claude API integration and LLM orchestration.
- Build Agentic Workflows: Design and deploy sophisticated agentic AI patterns, enabling autonomous, multi-step AI reasoning and execution within enterprise applications.
- End-to-End AI Delivery: Drive the full lifecycle development of complex AI/ML systems, building on a track record of successfully bringing production-grade AI solutions to market.
- Software Engineering & Architecture
- Production-Grade Python Coding: Write, test, and optimize highly performant, production-ready code using expert-level Python, applying advanced design patterns and rigorous testing methodologies.
- Distributed Systems & Big Data: Architect and maintain distributed systems and microservices, executing large-scale data processing pipelines (managing 1,000+ jobs) utilizing PySpark and distributed computing frameworks.
- System Resilience: Implement robust error handling, comprehensive monitoring, and resilience protocols to ensure the continuous, reliable operation of high-availability AI systems.
- Complex Debugging: Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical challenges, applying deep debugging expertise to resolve system issues efficiently.
