Your Role: Tenable is no longer just the world leader in vulnerability scanning; we are the undisputed leader in Exposure Management. We are seeking a visionary leader to lead our high-impact Security Engineering team covering UK/Ireland and South Africa. You will move beyond managing a direct go to market SE team and embrace both direct and indirect technical selling within these diverse markets.
Your Opportunity:
- Drive a new mode of performance into an established team: This is an opportunity to deliver scale across the entire selling ecosystem.
- Scale a High-Performance Team: Lead a diverse, hybrid team of SEs across UKI and South Africa, fostering an inclusive culture that thrives on teamwork.
- Platform-First Strategy: Your role will be to lead this across the SE and associated teams to sell higher and faster into larger accounts.
- Regional Technical Leadership: Serve as the SE leader for the UKI and South Africa markets, ensuring regional requirements are reflected and embraced.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Work across the direct sales, channel, marketing, services and customer success teams to support new and expansion business.
- Mentorship & Growth: Actively coach SEs at all levels, helping them navigate the transition to platform-based selling.
- Culture of Innovation: Foster a "fail fast, learn faster" environment, encouraging proactive problem-solving.
What You’ll Need:
- Leadership Experience: 6+ years of experience as an SE Manager, with a proven track record of evolving high-output teams.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep roots in the security industry, specifically within the Exposure Management or Vulnerability Management domains.
- Platform & Cloud Proficiency: Extensive experience with modern cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and a "platform-as-a-product" mindset.
- Regional Savvy: Experience managing remote teams across multiple jurisdictions (specifically UK/I and South Africa).
- Strategic Agility: The ability to pivot quickly in response to the fast-moving threat landscape.
- Education: B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
