Are you looking for a part-time, long-term role as a SEN Lunchtime Supervisor and build your experience working with SEN/vulnerable students? If so, look no further!
We are looking for a strong Lunchtime Supervisor to work in a highly reputable SEN Secondary school based in Islington on a full-time long-term basis.
Successful candidates will have:
- Previous experience working with children (preferably vulnerable/SEN children) with mild/complex ASD, learning difficulties, SEMH, challenging/aggressive behaviour, Down syndrome, ADHD, hyper-mobility and more.
- Be confident monitoring lunchtime behaviour in the lunch hall during meal times.
- Excellent challenging behaviour management.
- Be able to provide social, emotional and academic support to students whilst building positive working relationships.
- Be aware of individual needs and provide personalised support.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Currently hold a valid DBS or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Be available ASAP.
- Consistency, reliability and a drive to succeed!
