Ten90 Recruitment is looking for a Cook/Chef to make a difference to the lives of people in the services we support! We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef/Cook to join us to work within a number of different services, where we are already supplying into with care staff.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including special dietary requirements.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Manage food supplies and inventory.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure meals are tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Contribute to menu planning and design.
- May be required to assist with serving meals and/or preparing snacks.
The requirements for this role include the following:
- Proven experience in a cooking role, preferably in a healthcare or care home setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals.
To achieve this, we are looking for caring, compassionate and motivated individuals who understand how to deliver a high quality service. Minimum of 1 year experience required in a similar role.
