A rare opportunity to become Finance Lead within a small, established organisation, working part-time (4 days) and flexibly. This is a broad, hands-on role offering real autonomy, variety and the chance to make a visible impact. You will work closely with the CEO, supporting both day-to-day operations and longer-term planning, while helping to strengthen and modernise finance processes.
The Role
- Full ownership of the finance function (AP, AR, payroll)
- Cash flow management and forecasting (key focus)
- Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Budgetary control and oversight of spend, including capital projects
- Establishing and improving financial controls and processes
- Supporting system improvements and efficiencies
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Supervising a part-time bookkeeper
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or strong QBE
- Experience leading finance in a SME or similar environment
- Strong cash flow management and commercial awareness
- Experience implementing or improving finance systems and controls
- Confident managing budgets and overseeing spend
