The Role
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Managers, you'll play an important role in the successful commercial and operational delivery of projects.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining procurement, commercial support and project coordination. You'll take ownership of purchasing activities, help monitor project costs and ensure that project documentation and reporting are accurate and up to date.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the procurement process, from obtaining and comparing supplier quotations through to placing orders and coordinating deliveries to site.
Building strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating where appropriate and identifying opportunities to improve value and efficiency.
Supporting the Commercial Manager and Project Managers with valuations, variations, cost tracking, budget monitoring and commercial reporting.
