Leading a small Membership Services team, you'll work closely with colleagues across marketing, business development and stakeholder engagement to:
- Strengthen member communities
- Enhance the membership offer
- Create valuable networking opportunities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging member journeys, from onboarding through to long-term advocacy
- Building and nurturing vibrant professional communities and mentoring programmes
- Planning and delivering an annual programme of member networking and engagement events
- Using data and member insights to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Building strong relationships with members, partners, volunteers and key stakeholders
- Leading, coaching and developing a small Membership Services team
- Monitoring performance through membership metrics, engagement data and member feedback
You will be an experienced membership, customer engagement or community professional who enjoys creating meaningful experiences that encourage people to engage, develop and stay connected.
Requirements:
- Experience leading membership, customer success, community engagement or similar functions
- Experience designing customer or member journeys that improve engagement and long-term value
- Experience developing professional communities, networking initiatives or engagement programmes
- Confidence using CRM or membership platforms alongside data and insight to inform decisions
- A collaborative, proactive approach and genuine passion for building engaged communities
Part-time or full-time hours considered (min 28 hrs). The role is hybrid with time split between remote and the Harpenden office with free parking.
