If you're someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being at the centre of a busy finance function, this could be a brilliant next step. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly from day-to-day transactions through to supporting audits and improving processes. It's a hands-on role where your input will genuinely make a difference.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices accurately
  • Managing staff expenses and payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations and cash management
  • Credit control and chasing outstanding invoices
  • Maintaining ledgers and accounting records
  • Producing reports (including flash and aged debt reports)
  • Supporting the annual audit process
  • Responding to finance queries across the business
  • Identifying and contributing to process improvements

There’s also the opportunity to step up and provide cover for the Head of Finance - a great chance to broaden your exposure.

You’ll be someone who takes pride in getting the detail right, enjoys working as part of a team, and is keen to build your experience in a growing business. We’re looking for:

  • Solid grounding in basic accounting principles and double-entry
  • Experience with accounting systems and data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities
  • Confident communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of UK financial regulations

Salary of £35k, 35-hour working week, office based in Tring.
