Our client first came to life in 2013, set up by former HR consultant, the company delivers training and coaching programmes to support the wellbeing of their clients\’ people and bring a positive culture to business.
Typically working with highly technical SMEs in the IT, biotech, pharmaceutical and academic fields, our client merges skills from the worlds of HR and therapy to offer a pragmatic approach to supporting good mental health and wellbeing. Based in Cambridge, our client offers support online or in-person to businesses across the UK.
The Role
Your mission will be to keep the office running smoothly every day, keeping the admin and operations running smoothly. Youll support the team and clients, helping to make sure that business processes run smoothly.
We need someone who keeps things running behind the scenes and genuinely cares about getting things right. Youll get involved and wont wait to be told whats needed.
With a calm, steady presence youll support the future growth of the business.
Keeping an eye on the business owners inbox and handling emails, identifying priorities to ensure smooth service delivery.
Keeping diaries, calendars, and digital files up to date.
Ordering training manuals and making sure trainers have everything they need before sessions start.
Keeping the office stocked with supplies, making sure we never run out of the essentials.
Jumping in to support the business owner with one-off projects or reports when they pop up, suggesting and setting up better ways to get things done.
Making sure the office is always welcoming, tidy, and a great place to work.
Potentially, take on processing invoices and expenditure in QuickBooks. If this isnt your thing dont let it put you off. Reaching out to our external accountants for advice or info when needed.
Creating email campaigns and keeping our communications fresh using Mailchimp.
Doing online research to find potential clients and build up our prospective client list.
Setting up and keeping an easy-to-use CRM.
Experience in a similar admin/office management/business manager/PA role.
A natural energy for organising and keeping on top of priorities.
A comfortable communicator on calls, in emails, and face-to-face, whether chatting with clients or the team.
A friendly, calm presence, even when youre spinning a few plates at once.
Happy working under your own steam, and a willingness to get involved, learn from the team and identify and suggest new ideas or processes.
Proactivity is key in this role being an active part of a small dynamic team
The role will develop over time, therefore this list is not exhaustive.
Our client are offering a huge amount of flexibility in this role, with room for growth. Initially the position will require 20 hours per week, over five days per week; this can be based on a pattern to suit the individual and the client agreed through discussion.
A salary of circa £35K FTE, depending on experience, is available. This role will be a hybrid position, however due to the nature of the role, this will be a flexible and changeable arrangement depending on business needs.
*Full time equivalent actual salary will depend on hours worked
