Are you an experienced AV or events professional who enjoys working with clients and spotting opportunities?
Our client is a successful and growing business specialising in AV hire, live events and production , and theyre looking for a commercially minded New Business & Customer Relationship Manager to help take their next stage of growth to the next level.
This is a genuine new business role youll be responsible for finding opportunities, building relationships and turning them into profitable, long-term client accounts.
What you'll be doing
Youll have ownership of the sales journey from start to finish, including:
Generating your own leads through proactive outreach, networking, referrals and relationship building
Developing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
Identifying opportunities across the AV hire, events and production sectors
Building relationships with prospective clients and understanding what they need
Preparing quotations, proposals and pitches and presenting these confidently
Negotiating and closing new business at commercially sound margins
Working closely with the technical and operations teams to make sure solutions can be delivered successfully
Developing new clients into long-term, valuable relationships
Managing your pipeline, CRM activity, forecasts and multiple opportunities at different stages
Representing the business at client meetings, networking and industry events
There are clear monthly new business targets, which will build as you get established, develop your network and grow your pipeline.

About you
Youll be commercially driven, proactive and confident dealing with clients and decision-makers.
Youll ideally bring:
Experience in B2B sales, business development or account management
Experience of AV hire, live events, production or a related environment would be a real advantage
A good understanding of professional AV technology and event delivery
Confidence generating your own leads and having commercial conversations
Strong pitching, negotiating and closing skills
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Commercial awareness, including an understanding of margins
The resilience and motivation to work towards and ideally exceed targets
Good organisation and the ability to juggle multiple opportunities
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to meetings, events and project sites
Experience with rental management or CRM systems such as Current would be useful, but isn't essential.
