A growing manufacturing business in Hertfordshire is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operative to support its finishing and coating processes. This role involves preparing metal components, assisting with automated coating systems, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general preparation of metalwork, including sanding and degreasing
  • Mask components as required prior to coating processes
  • Load and hang items onto automated track systems safely and efficiently
  • Inspect coated items to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Pack finished items carefully to prevent damage during handling and transport
  • Collate completed work against bills of materials, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or missing items
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times
