A growing manufacturing business in Hertfordshire is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operative to support its finishing and coating processes. This role involves preparing metal components, assisting with automated coating systems, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general preparation of metalwork, including sanding and degreasing
- Mask components as required prior to coating processes
- Load and hang items onto automated track systems safely and efficiently
- Inspect coated items to ensure they meet quality standards
- Pack finished items carefully to prevent damage during handling and transport
- Collate completed work against bills of materials, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or missing items
- Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or workshop environment preferred
