We're looking for a Critical Shift Engineer to join a data centre environment, supporting 24/7 operations and ensuring uptime across critical electrical and mechanical systems. This role is ideal for engineers from building services, FM, or industrial backgrounds looking to work in a mission-critical environment.
The Role
- PPM & reactive maintenance on critical systems (UPS, generators, HV, cooling, BMS)
- Monitoring plant and responding to alarms/incidents
- Fault finding and supporting incident & change management
- Issuing permits to work and supporting safe systems (RAMS)
- Working closely with contractors and site teams
What We're Looking For
- Electrically qualified (apprenticeship / C&G or equivalent)
- Experience in building services or critical environments
- Exposure to UPS, generators, HVAC, HV/LV or BMS systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work a continental shift pattern
