Salary: £53K + benefits

We’re looking for a strong Critical Shift Engineer to join a data centre environment, supporting 24/7 operations and ensuring strong uptime across critical electrical and mechanical systems.

This role is ideal for engineers from strong building services, FM, or industrial backgrounds looking to work in a mission-critical environment.

The Role

  • PPM reactive maintenance on critical systems (UPS, generators, HV, cooling, BMS)
  • Monitoring plant and responding to alarms/incidents
  • Fault finding and supporting incident change management
  • Issuing permits to work and supporting safe systems (RAMS)
  • Working closely with contractors and site teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Electrically qualified (apprenticeship / C G or equivalent)
  • Experience in building services or critical environments
  • Exposure to strong UPS, generators, HVAC, HV/LV or BMS systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work a strong continental shift pattern
