An established data centre services organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects across live, mission-critical environments.

The Role

You will take ownership of projects from initial client engagement and scope development through tendering, delivery, commissioning and final handover.

Projects will cover M&E infrastructure, construction, fabric and white-space environments, with responsibility for commercial performance, programme, safety and quality.

Key responsibilities include

  • Lead multiple data centre projects from cradle to grave.
  • Manage specialist contractors, suppliers and project teams.
  • Develop scopes of work, tenders, proposals and project programmes.
  • Manage budgets, commercial performance, procurement and project risk.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Act as a key interface between clients, designers, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of CDM compliance, RAMS, Health & Safety documentation and project governance.
  • Manage tender evaluations and subcontractor appointments.
  • Provide regular programme, commercial and financial reporting.
  • Identify additional project opportunities and support the development of the wider client account.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong Senior Project Management experience within data centres or critical environments.
  • Essential experience delivering M&E, fabric and/or white-space data centre projects.
  • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations, RAMS and construction Health & Safety.
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, project financials and ideally P&L.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong client-facing, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Technical qualification within electrical, mechanical or construction engineering.
  • Recognised Project Management qualification.
