Job Summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an Established Engineering corporation based on their 14-acre site in Milton Keynes. We are looking for an Automation and Control Engineer with experience of setting up and programming PLC's to provide product support to their European Subsidiaries. * Salary £40K to £50K * Fully office based 37.5 hour week - full training and career progression. * Benefits 25 days holiday, buy and sell holiday, pension, subsidised restaurant, sports and social club, life assurance, Private Healthcare cover and loads more... * You must have permanent right to work in the UK as unfortunately Sponsorship is not available for this position. Duties * Design and deliver training courses/presentations to subsidiaries. * Create operation manuals and technical guides. * Carry out investigations and tests to evaluate products. * Supporting company electrical products by answering technical questions. * Providing assistance for specific customer applications and performing fault investigations * Some European Travel may be required. Must Have Experience * You must have a degree or HND qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Software or Electromechanical Engineering. * A Minimum of 1 year experience that is relevant to the role. * Knowledge of PLC's and Ladder or Structured text programming language * Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to write detailed technical reports and product documentation. Desirable and additional experience would include: * Experience of troubleshooting electrical components and networks * Technical Product Support experience * Experience of delivering technical training. * Experience with major industrial communication protocols is desirable such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA and IO-Link. Interview process is thorough and will include an Agility test in Math and English, a teams interview and then a face to face interview. Presentation skills and knowledge will be a major focus during this process
