We are looking for qualified and experienced TIG Welders who can easily demonstrate good experience employed as a TIG welder in a manufacturing, production or workshop environment. This is a factory workshop environment, and you will need to be a skilled welder to succeed. This opportunity will be based in the Oldham/Chadderton area for a large fabrication company based in their workshop/manufacturing site.
You must have at least 2-3 years TIG Welding experience in welding sheet metal, enclosures, gates, railings, and the likes as well as being able to read engineering drawings. Full time, 40+ hours a week, with Friday off. This is temp to perm.
Compensation and Details- Salary on offer is between £17 and £19 an hour dependent on experience
- Overtime can be offered
- You must be able to pass a weld test at site prior to start
- At least 2-3 years of recent TIG Welding experience with sheeted metal, in particular enclosures, railings, gates etc.
- You will be asked to perform a weld test as part of your interview/meeting at site.
- Ability and clear experience of following and reading Engineering Drawings.
- Experience of working in a high‑pressured manufacturing workshop.
- You must have skilled TIG welding experience to apply.
- You must have time served or have the required TIG welding codes/qualifications.
