CNC Shift Manager - Night Shift

Location: Coventry\\nHours: Sunday to Thursday, 22:00–07:00\\nSalary: Up to £42,000 per annum + overtime + performance-based incentives\\n\\nIntroduction\\n\\nWe’re looking for a hands-on CNC Shift Manager to lead our night shift team in a modern timber manufacturing environment. You’ll oversee CNC operations across multiple machines and ensure the whole shift runs smoothly, safely, and to plan.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Supervise CNC operators and ensure machines are running to target.\\n\\n * Support and guide the team with day-to-day production tasks.\\n\\n * Carry out quality checks and encourage a right-first-time approach.\\n\\n * Monitor performance, reduce downtime, and keep work flowing.\\n\\n * Promote safe working practices across the shift.\\n\\n * Maintain a tidy, well-organised production area.\\n\\n * Report key issues and performance updates to senior management.\\n\\nCandidate Requirements\\n\\n * Previous experience leading or supervising in a CNC/machine shop environment.\\n\\n * Strong technical understanding of CNC operations.\\n\\n * Confident decision-maker with good communication skills.\\n\\n * Able to motivate a team and maintain standards on shift.\\n\\n * Safety-conscious and quality-focused.\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\n * Salary up to £38,000 per annum + overtime + performance-based incentives\\n\\n * Permanent night shift role with leadership responsibility\\n\\n * Opportunity to develop further within a growing timber manufacturing business\\n\\n * Supportive working environment
