HIAB Driver – Class 1 & Class 2
Scotland-based role – covering routes from the Carlisle border to the North of Scotland, including Inverness and Aberdeen. Occasional deliveries to England and Wales may be required.
We are looking for a HIAB/loader crane driver with experience in slinging, chains, and hooks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of a range of specialist loads across Scotland, with occasional UK-wide deliveries.
This role requires a minimum of 2 years’ HIAB driving experience, including hands-on use of lifting equipment and load restraint systems.
Key Responsibilities- Operate HIAB HOOK vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load, transport, and unload goods including:
- Containers
- Generators
- Cabins and welfare units
- Scaffolding and related equipment
- Minimum 2 years’ HIAB driving experience
- Valid HGV licence:
- Class 1 (C+E)
- Class 2 (C)
Basic hours: 07:00 – 16:45
Break: 45 minutes unpaid
Hourly Rates:
Class 1 HIAB (Wagon & Drag): £17.00 per hour
Class 2 HIAB: £16.00 per hour
Overtime:
Monday to Saturday: Time and a half
Sunday: Double time
Nights Out: £25.00 per night (currently under review)
