Scope and Purpose of the Job
Due to our refurbishment we are recruiting morning public area cleaners for our expanding team. The Public Area cleaners are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the hotel including the Spa, restaurants and public areas, supporting our room attendants when necessary.
Job Details
Location: 10 Donegall Square South
Shifts: various shifts starting from 5 am onwards.
No experience is required, full training will be provided. Candidates must enjoy talking to guests and providing excellent customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness of all public areas and spa changing rooms
- Carry out lost property procedures
- Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks, e.g. monthly deep cleaning and carpet shampooing
- Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department
- Check public areas and toilets, taking remedial action where necessary
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotel's management
Required Criteria
- Good communication skills
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Ability to work on own or in teams
- Applicants must be 18 or older
Contract and Compensation
Contract Type: full time
Salary: £10.85 – £12.75 hourly
